If you're searching for the perfect Arizona mountain getaway with incredible hiking, you've found it! One of the best things about staying at Pine, Arizona Cabin is that you're surrounded by some of the most beautiful hiking trails in Pine, Strawberry, Payson, the Mogollon Rim, and even Greer.
Every trip can be a new adventure. Some days we stay close and explore the peaceful forest trails around Pine and Strawberry. Other times, we'll head over to Payson or even wake up before sunrise for a day of hiking in beautiful Greer. That's what we love most about our cabin, there are so many amazing trails within easy driving distance.
And if your four-legged family members love the outdoors as much as you do, many local trails are dog-friendly! There's nothing better than watching the pups splash through creeks, sniff every pine tree, and enjoy the fresh mountain air right alongside you.
Before every hike, we check AllTrails to find new routes, read recent trail reviews, and always download the trail map before heading out. Cell service can be limited in the mountains, so having an offline map is a must.
Don't Forget Your Hiking Essentials
Mountain weather can change quickly, so it's always best to be prepared. We recommend bringing:
-
Plenty of water
-
Snacks

Good hiking shoes

Sunscreen and a hat
-
Extra layers or a rain jacket
-
Small first-aid kit

Always stay on marked trails, check the weather, and let someone know where you're going before heading out.
